I came out as Squirrel Nutkin! The Peter Rabbit 50p piece looks good.

An interesting quiz. I came out as Mrs Tiggy-Winkle.

So did I, both last time and this time... I think it's rigged.
I would rather be Benjamin Bunny! (I loved his story when I was little and always thought he was much braver than Peter.)
Still, it seems to be a bit of a pattern... I recently found a "Which Harry Potter character are you?" quiz and came out as Albus Dumbledore when I wanted to be Hermione!!

Well I got Jemima Puddleduck.. again. I have no idea if the way I answered this time is the same as last time. I did try to vary it by not choosing what I thought I probably said before!

Lovely new stamps released by the Royal Mail for Beatrix Potter's 150th birthday:
Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit and Mrs Tiggy-Winkle on anniversary stamps
Mind you, I'm wondering why there's no 2nd class stamp and the other two denominations are £1.33 and £1.52... those latter two seem really odd choices. I've just looked at a Royal Mail price list and I can't see any standard postage cost that is either £1.33 or £1.52. (Most are below that, unless you're posting something over 500 grams.)

Perhaps the postage is soon to be increased again!

£1.52 is the price of a letter not exceeding 100g to Europe and £1.33 the price of a letter not exceeding 20g to the Rest of the World.

Ah, thanks, Tony.
I was only looking at prices within the UK.

You will be able to write lots of letters to friends in Australia and they will get Peter Rabbit on their stamp!

I save money and use email or Skype.
That said, Peter Rabbit is very popular in Australia as well — we had several of the books when I was little and they've always been very widely available. The animated TV series years ago was quite a hit too.
