Agatha Christie
Re: Agatha Christie
For what it's worth, I don't think it can be The Mystery of the Blue Train (another Poirot novel) either, as that doesn't feature an avalanche or snow as far as I can remember. It must have been nearly fifty years ago that I read it.

Re: Agatha Christie
I went up to the attic and searched through my Christie novels. I was right about the big amounts of snow, but wrong about a train being effected by the snow.Moonraker wrote: The Murder on the Orient Express?
The novel is called "The Sittaford Mystery".

I see you haven't put any more clothes onto Pip and Bets yet Pete. Maybe you wrote that on purpose, tongue in cheek?
Enjoy your anniversary in Chester.

Happy Anniversary and have a great time in Chester, Pete! I was born there and lived in Blacon until I was three.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Agatha Christie
Agatha wrote a few stories with a train as a central character. The Plymouth Express is one, but i don't think it included snow. The Sittaford Mystery is a great book, but doesn't feature passengers stranded on a snowbound train.
