Cages by Peg Kehret
This books deals with teenage life. But unlike other books it has more in it than romance, boys, hair problems and other silly stuff. It's about a girl who is caught shoplifting (She did so due to frustation about her problems at home & school). She is subjected to 20 hours of social service. She decides to work at the animal shelter.Working with those caged animals makes her realise what is important in life.A "must'" read.
