I've just rediscovered Paul Berna,I really enjoyed these books, the characters were so well drawn and the plots were exciting and well thought out but not to hard for a kid to follow.The second in the series "The Street Musician" was a bittersweet tale and a little dark.The atmosphere of fifties France is really well portrayed.Great books,well written.
When I'm grown up I won't forget the things I think today.
