I hope no-one minds a bit more self-promotion ...
... but my new book, First Term at Cotterford, is now scheduled for publication by Bettany Press in the northern summer and is advertised on their website: http://www.ju90.co.uk/first.htm" target="_blank.
It's a contemporary school story, but with traditional GO elements ... as you'd expect from someone who grew up on Malory Towers, St Clare's, the Chalet School, Kingscote, Trebizon and Balcombe Hall! I know that one or two of you read the 'drabble' version that appeared on the MCR a couple of years ago. I wrote it (and two sequels) for fun throughout most of 2006 and never expected it to appear in proper book form, so am very excited and happy that it soon will be.
