The original title on that book with that cover was Biggles Pioneer Air Fighter! Some clever chappie (like Pete!) has done a bit of work on it, but I have known about this version for many years!

Re: Biggles
It's been too many years since I read a Biggles novel, I just ordered a set from Amazon, I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.
I have not yet found an American authors who can match the skill of the British authors,
Captain W. E. Johns.
Enid Blyton.
Charles Dickens.
J.K Rowling.
C S Lewis.
Mark A, Cooper.
Anthony Horowitz.
Beatrix Potter.
Ian Fleming (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Not just James Bond)
Lewis Carroll
A. A. Milne.
J. R. R. Tolkien.
Okay maybe we had Mark Twain but's that's about it for Great Children authors go in America.
