No :). It could be that it was a retrospective but Susan at School is very definitely SET just after the first book.. of that one I am 100% positive :)
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die.

Ok then, I will keep that in mind! I was just wondering because I'd bring some layouts to show you if you were, that's all!

Kitty, I like Midge much better than Susan too ;). Shall we have a thread discussed the Susan books? that would be cool!
Yayes! I won't be able to contribute much till I've read them, though  I think I've got at least one more up here, but I shall soon be reuinted with all my Jane Shaws, and will then be able to work out what I still need.

Most of them can be had for as little as fifty pence on ebay. The more rare ones are Susan Muddles Through - which you should still get for roundabout a fiver - and No Trouble for Susan, which you should expect to pay up to a tenner for. Oh, and Susan's Trying Term which you might pay between ten and fifteen for... though actually if you just want to read it and not buy it you can borrow my copy and just send it back to me when you're done with it :). The last three were, until recently, like gold-dust and I've not read them - I saw one on a rare books site - the only copy I'd ever seen for sale :( - for nearly 500 quid. THey've recently been re-issued though and I am gonna buy them all when I get round to it.
