Dear Sirs,
As a child I used to hate books and reading until I was given an Amelia Jane book and, from this time on, I've become a fervent reader.
After reading several Amelia Jane books I moved on to read books about a naughty boy which in my Spanish editions was called "Guillermo" i.e. William. This young boy was allways doing some kind of mischief, inventing bad words, etc. And I was almost sure they were written by Enid Blyton.
Can somebody tell me if they know what I am talking about? Or what the original titles of these books may be? I'd really like to buy some for my little girl.
Sincerely yours,
Pia Scuderi

Books about "Guillermo" ¿by Enid Blyton?
William books
Maybe the books you're referring to are the 'Just William' books by Richmal Crompton?
Heres a link for a site dedicated to the 'William' books http://www.justwilliam.co.uk
Hope this helps!

I does sound like the "William" books by Richmal Crompton. I can't think of anything that sounds like that in Blyton's catalogue.
Here is another good William site.
