Has anyone been to Kings Cross and tried to get through to platform 9 3/4? My son was very unhappy when the trolley wouldn't move, but no-one seemed to be able to get through  .

If I could live here on this secret island always and always and always, and never grow up at all, I would be quite happy

Perhaps we're better off in our familiar muggle world anyway.

I'm trying to comfort myself with that thought, though it doesn't work very well.

Anyone notice Fiona's mum was trying to get through a different wall? They must have moved the trolley (which is actually a different trolley too)!

That was in about 2005 when the trolley was outside - right in the middle of where the new departure area is now.

Is anyone else here as obsessed with Pottermore as I am? I enjoy brewing potions and dueling, even though I'm not very good at it. I was sorted into Slytherin, which I quite liked. Apparently the house cup will be awarded in September (I don't know what happens then!) and Gryffindor and Slytherin are fiercely competing at the moment. More often Slytherin is at the top, but sometimes Gryffindor takes the lead - which is when I brew another potion to win house points!

Edit: When I wrote this 13 minutes ago Slytherin was miles ahead, and now Gryffindor has overtaken!

Kings Cross is real all right! That's where I enter/leave London by train.

Although it has now dropped its apostrophe, some interesting facts about Kings Cross can be found HERE.

I'm a Hufflepuff too. I'll send you a friend request - I'm Snitchdraconis89. To be honest I'm a bit bored of it now, though. I enjoyed exploring through the book and finding all the objects but I'm not that fussed with the potions (I've lost too many cauldrons due to stupid glitches) and nobody ever answers my duels.

Request sent, though you've mistyped your name. It should be wolfsbane, not wolfbane!
