Would have thought it was customary to say "Spoiler Alert" before a post like that? Call me a fuss fudgit, but if I hadn't read the book, I wouldn't have appreciated you giving it away like that, Icecream.

Just a thought. I don't mean to cause offence.

"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

I agree with Stef, it's not a good idea to post things like this when many people haven't yet seen the film.

Secondly, there is no "book 2" the FILM is split into two parts the BOOK is book 7.
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Oh yes! That! A friend of mine works in Waterstones and actually had someone come in and ask for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2. To go with the film

I've not yet had this enquiry at work. I dread the first person who asks me this. However I do like to believe that frequent book readers/ library goers will know that Harry Potter 7 is ONE book and TWO movies!

Perhaps Icecream is talking about Dobby's first appearance in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, which is book 2 in the series.

Well spotted Anita. I'm so used to people making that mistake I see it all the time (even when that's not the case!)

That's up to you, Icecream, but it was a genuine misunderstanding and nothing personal.

I don't think I was being "horrid" and I'm sorry if I upset you, I was simply correcting what I thought was a mistake.

I don't think anyone was being deliberately mean :). It's just irritating if you've not read or seen something and someone comes along and gives away a fairly significant chunk of the plot..
