I must admit, apart from Julies and the others that once appeared on here, plus the 'grown up' Find Outer stories by Julie, I'm not really a fan of continuation novels...which is maybe a bit bad of me, considering I've written a couple, lol! ;-)

Was that the one where someone decided to have Fatty's 20 cousins arrive at his door or something similarly ridiculous? I remember contributing to it but stopping because one or two people had taken it beyond the realms of fantasy.
No I don't remember that being part of it! We did have some rather strange posts which made continuing with any sense rather difficult at times. That's why they petered out I think. Truthfully, I can't remember many details now, it must be about six or seven years ago I think.

I think I do remember it vaguely - but no real details. I seem to remember that someone might write a fairly detailed paragraph, only to be followed by something very short and to the point which completely altered the plot - a bit annoying!

Yes, it was certainly a challenge to incorporate some ideas into something which made sense! :?

At first glance I thought you said Julie was running the country! (Which doesn't seem beyond the realms of possibility with all that's going on!)

  Anita.

Well I have started to read and after 4 chapters I can see a possibly interesting story emerging, but the style is definitely not Blyton and that spoils it a bit for me.

For me, too. I always hope my Enid Blyton stories are in her style...it's difficult to do sometimes, but I always feel the style is the most important thing when we are writing follow-on books.

I ain't got as far as Daisy yet,but one reviewer seemed impressed!
Izzah Hussain chapter 14 . Dec 24, 2015
This is so amazing. The story is moving at just the right pace and all the scenes with Goon are just plain hilarious. I like how your narrative doesn't leave out any characters, it almost is like a pro, almost. There are tiny grammatical mistakes here and there. Proof read and the matter ends though. Plus, I need more romance! Like there are other guys and girls. Please *puppy dog eyes* And I think its awesome how you are carrying out GeorgexFatty. Amazeballs really, lmao

George and Fatty??? I would never have seen that one coming... (Not sure I want to know, either.)

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

No, nor did I.... but this story is definitely written for a more adult audience. It states Julian is now 17 and the children are certainly quite mature teenagers now.

I've only just finished chapter one.

My Best Bit Chapter One

Loved the phone call to Goon from Superintendent Jenks warning Goon about an imminent increase of crime in Peterswood.
Goon is puzzled about how the Superintendent could know this before the event - until it is explained to him....

Julie,
I think this comment from Anita started the 'Julie for Prime Minister' comments.

From what I've read England is looking for a new PM

Yes, I was joking with my comments for the suggestion, Aussie Sue. My dry sense of humour!
