Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.

Fantastic Moonraker, well done.
Perhaps Chorion should sue the firm advertising?

This is a Green Knight Book which means that it is a book by one of the most popular authors of all.

Well spotted Moonraker. Now they just need Huffin and Puffin to bring some fish.

Lucy-Ann will be about 70 or so now, won't she? Maybe it's her last job before retirement, and spending her time looking after Jack in his old age.

Maybe she has just licensed her catchphrase to the company putting out the advert.
I can picture her and Jack, Dinah and Philip, all widowed now, living out their days in Craggy Tops which they have had completely renovated inside from their accumulated wealth. All together again in the place where it all began. Jack is still searching for the Great Auk but alas his eyes are not too good these days.spending her time looking after Jack in his old age.

Yes one last adventure for them. Jojo finally gets out of prison and comes back to take revenge. Alas his walking stick is no match for Dinah and Lucy-Ann's zimmer frames and Jojo ends up being chucked down the well. The boys dont notice any of this as Philip is having his afternoon nap and Jack is still in the tower looking out for the Great Auk.

Bill has now retired, and is over 90, spending most of his time watching the "kids" fool around. He's always reading newspapers, or rather, TRYING to read newspapers, and all Aunt Allie can do now is knit, but with great difficulty.

And Kiki, what happened to her? Perhaps she died, after all?

Ooooh! Yes - even I think poor Kiki should've been dead by now.
And what about Mrs Mannering?!

Poor Kiki has now ceased to live, and is now an ex-parrot. (Monty Python sketch here!)
But the "children" now have another parrot, that looks just like Kiki used to, and they call HER Kiki too.
Aunt Allie can now only knit.
