I reckon I'm about due for one, haven't had a 'pay' rise for 20 years.

Also bought 5 Journals I'm missing, plus a book called What a Surprise, so that's me spent out completely now.

Bought several short stories collections.

For the past 4 days, I have been busy cataloguing my Enid Blyton books. I divide them into novel and short stories collection and others(religious, books about EB by different authors, nature and EBS publications). I am in the middle of recording and cataloguing every single short story in short stories books that I have. It's a tedious process but I enjoy doing it. I trace the original source of each short story and I record other book collection if the short story is being included in different book collection with the help of EBS' cave. So far, I have catalogued my Purnell Sunshine Library series, Werrner Laurie Story Books series, Tell-A-Story Books series, Hodder Story Books series and Collins Junior Story Books. There seem recurring characters apart from the usual popular character(in the character section) like Mr. Stamp-About, Sally Simple, Simple Simon, John and Golliwog. :D

Thank you, Wolfgang. Today, I managed to do indexing for 12 books in World International Enid Blyton Library series, 12 books in Dragon Bedtime Books series and 4 books in Dragon My Enid Blyton books.

Strangely enough, I have 'My Seventh Enid Blyton Book' but there are only 6 books in that series. There is no 'My Seventh Enid Blyton Book' in the Cave. I'm not sure, Tony knows about this or not. :D

I have 2 versions for First Bedtime book. The first print and the reprint. There is one extra story in original and one extra "puzzle game" in the original. The reprint does not have these story and puzzle game.

The title of the story that is being omitted is Give Him A Tail! and the title of the game is Look In My Shop. :D

Today I managed to catalogue 7 books only in Dean short stories series. There are many more in this series. There are 72 titles in Award Popular Rewards. The prospect is quite daunting! :(

Bought "The Mystery Of Holly Lane" - 1965 paperback edition in the series that I have been collecting recently - for the bargain price of 50 pence.

I've just bought a hardbacked copy with a complete immaculate dust jacket of The Naughtiest Girl is a Monitor. I also bought the 1st edition with complete and immaculate dust jacket of Four in a Family. All at our second hand book store at Trelissick Gardens.

I even made them an offer on the 1st edition book, dispite the fact that it was worth the price they were asking, and managed to get £4 off. :D

Good finds, BurlingtonBertram and Julie! The Mystery of Holly Lane is a cracking mystery and The Naughtiest Girl is a Monitor introduces two quite remarkable characters - Julian Holland and Arabella Buckley. I haven't read Four in a Family for a while and I remember very little about it, so I'll have to give it a re-read soon.
"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.

I received a beautiful edition of Four In a Family for Christmas last year, and I thought it was a lovely little story. It has almost been a year, so I think I will give it a re-read again, sometime, too. :D
Have you read it before, Julie?
