Thanks, Pete. 'A Dog Called Timmy' is a charming tale (though I too feel for the poor gypsy man!) and it's lovely when Enid Blyton takes an incident from a reader's letter and weaves it into a story. Readers whose letters were used in that way must have felt very pleased and proud.
