Thanks, Eddie! Now all we need now is a bit of consistency & maybe we just might make the play-off's (In my dreams!! )

I'm back after my three match ban but this weekend's results are best forgotten. Wednesday were poor again against an awful Hull City side but at least we got a point.

Definitely best forgotten, especially Brighton’s result against Liverpool, John.

Our annual visit to the City Ground resulted in a fifth straight victory at Forest and the double over them for the season. Just in case you missed the result yesterday, Number 6. :D

I’ve given up posting about the results of our football teams, as it’s far too depressing!

Haha! No, I didn't miss the result, John...I was there! I wish I wasn't! SW deserved the win. Forest were just absolutely awful, & that's being complimentary! We couldn't hit a barn door from two paces! I wish I'd stopped home & don't something else. Watching paint dry would've been more interesting! At least your manager has finally gone, John. Maybe they can get someone in who will get them back on track...if the current owners don't interfere, that is! :|

I agree with you Eddie. The results are just too depressing at times. At least we're not hangers-on who support those that have plenty of money to spend on top players. :|

Anyway, good luck to all our respective teams for the remainder of the season! :D

I feel sorry for Eddie as he has West Brom as well as Brighton to look out for. Let's hope that fortunes change for all of our clubs in 2018.

I know this thread has about run its course, but I'd just like to say how saddened I was on hearing the passing of the great Cyrille Regis. A true gentleman of the football world, who brought so much joy to the fans of Eddie's beloved West Brom. R.I.P Big fella.

Yes, very sad, Number 6. RIP Cyrille Regis.

I saw him play. Such a shame to hear about his death.
This thread will never run its course, Number 6, as long as Sheffield Wednesday keep beating Forest. Up the Owls. :D

  That'll never happen next season, John....We'll probably be in League 1 by then! We're not far off it now! Only 8 points off the regelation zone. Might be 5 after we've played Wolves on Saturday!
Oh, well. Always look on the bright side of life!

I, too, saw Cyrille Regis play on many occasions. A great professional, who always gave 100% for the cause..unlike some of the over-paid 'stars' of today who claim to be footballers!

Great result for Forest today, Number 6. When I saw the score on BBC TV at teatime, I thought I was dreaming. You must be delighted. :D
