Sadly West Brom were knocked out by Northampton in the League Cup. Northampton have been drawn against Manchester United at home in the third round: a dream draw for them.
Brighton will be playing Reading at home in the third round.

Eddie and John Pickup.
Sheffield Wednesday won 2 - 1, against Wigan Athletic. We play against Bristol City, next Tuesday.
Brighton and Hove Albion lost 2 -0, against Brentford. Brighton and Hove Albion play against Huddersfield Town, also next Tuesday.
Best of luck, to both Sheffield Wednesday, and Brighton and Hove Albion, on Tuesday!

Thanks, Bannerman. It hasn't been a particularly good start to the season for either the Owls or the Seagulls. Let's hope things improve in the coming weeks.Bannerman65 wrote:Eddie and John Pickup.

Re: Football
Brighton losing at home to Brentford was a real shock. It seems that the birds of the Championship are having mixed fortunes, the Owls and the Seagulls are struggling while the Magpies of Newcastle and the Canaries of Norwich are thriving.

You're welcome, Eddie. And I'm fine, apart from some leg pain.
Now I'm finding myself agreeing with John Pickup, as well.

Re: Football
A remarkable comeback last night for the Owls to beat Bristol City 3-2 after being 2-0 down. Brighton beat the league leaders Huddersfield and great wins for Gainsborough Trinity and Kidderminster Harriers. Things are looking up for us both, Eddie.
