For all: the giant rabbit is in the center of the screen right now.

I haven't been able to access the webcam, Chrissie. Is there a different link?

Re: Puffin Webcam, Burhou Island
Eddie, I have this link which still worked yesterday, but at some point every summer they turn off the web cam for the rest of the months until next year in April.
http://www.teachingthroughnature.co.uk/ ... in-webcam/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You are right, it no longer works. I just tried to check it, but now it says "Streamline" and that it's currently off work.
In order to find out more about Burhou (the last paragraph is interesting for FF and Adventure series fans) and also where the puffins hibernate, I checked Google and found these two links:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burhou" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2 ... 111229.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sadly, Streamline is still off line, Chrissie. I'll keep checking in the hope that it will return.

I like it! We could set up our own Enid Blyton clubhouse there as well...

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Well, clubhouse must have a leader. Who is going to be our leader?

The puffins will all have returned to the open sea until next April, Eddie. I assume the cameras will be serviced and positioned ready for next years viewing.Eddie Muir wrote:Sadly, Streamline is still off line, Chrissie. I'll keep checking in the hope that it will return.
