Yes, I thought so Rob, (just in case anyone thinks you're referring to Courtenay) and it has now all been removed from the various threads on which he posted.

Oh, right, didn't see whatever it was... I was just about to respond to Rob with "Excuse me, who are you calling a troll, mate??"

It was definitely spam- glad I'm not the only one that hadn't the faintest idea what it was selling . Though, on principle, I wouldn't buy a product or service that was promoted like that anyway.

I recently watched Pointless Series 5 ep 39 on a TV channel here. The jackpot category at the end was Famous Five book titles.
There were about 9 pointless answers including the one I had decided to pick, "Mystery Moor". The contestants had a good try but didn't get any correct answers. It would have a been a great category to get for anyone here!

I don't watch 'Pointless' but I presume that meant no member of the public mentioned 'Five Go To Mystery Moor'?! One of my favourite Famous Five books!

Yes that's right. It is tricky because you have to try and think which answer (in this case a book title) is less well known and try and think like the general public. I reasoned that the famous five are normally associated with islands, adventures and the sea, so a moor would be less well-known.
'Five have a mystery to solve' was another pointless answer.
But the contestants only had a vague idea of the titles and couldn't come up with any valid answers.

Its funny how perceptions are so different. If I'd been a member of the public I would probably have put Mystery Moor as one of my top answers. Until I was about 25 I only knew Mystery Moor and Smuggler's Top - and these, as an adult, are to me the two most iconic titles, almost like legends in Famous Five book titles!
