Simple - state the last song you listened to and artist.

Mine isn't exactly a song but a piece of music. Theme From a Summer Place - the Percy Faith Orchestra. From 1960. A lovely piece of music in my opinion.

I've been playing Elaine Paige songs quite a lot recently, since going to see her in concert a few weeks ago. The last song I listened to (yesterday) was "Memory," which has been a favourite of mine for years. The concert was super. Elaine was celebrating forty years on the stage and sang songs from a number of shows including "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," "I Know Him So Well" and "I Don't Know How to Love Him." The highlight of the evening was "Memory" - it was sublime and literally sent shivers down my spine. What a voice!

The last song I listened to was 'Open a New Window' from the original Broadway production 'Mame' sung by Angela Lansbury :D

Walking On Air - The Bee Gees.

From what turned out to be their last proper Bee Gees album (due to Maurice's death), This is Just Where I Came In, released in 2001, the year I became a fan. Ah, the memories...falling in love with their music, going with my Mum to buy the album...

Although the song I have firmly stuck in my head at the moment is actually a Tamil song from a youtube clip that has been doing the rounds. If interesting, just go to youtube and look up "crazy Indian video buffalaxed" or "loony bun Benny Lava". It is great!

In For the Kill by La Roux. I rarely listen to modern music but my daughter is doing her best to bring me up to date! Actually I quite like In For the Kill. It reminds me of some of the songs Eurythmics sang in the 1980s.

I wonder if 'In For the Kill' by La Roux will still be being listened to in twenty years time, though!!
