This is from a while back, but I have to agree. I grew up with really well-illustrated comic books in the 70's and 80's and the artistry today is absolutely banal across the board. Can't tell whether nobody has any talent left or if they think they have talent and they're at the top of their game... Either way, it isn't great! I hate seeing these new books and the "dimsey" FF cartoons that are representative of the new talents in the field today. Hard stuff!Darrell71 wrote:I cringe every time I see those illustrations.
