Re: Happy Birthday Ming
Seeing that people have gone crazy for pictures, here's a quarter of them. Yes, Petermax, railway photos are waiting!

That'll be a great help to you in your adult life. What a good job you've got Enid to teach you the things that really matter!Ming wrote: I just remembered that I have to memorize the Periodic Table of Elements up to 20, Calcium. Blimey - I can't remember those proton numbers and atomic masses!!

Wow - I absolutely loved looking at those photos of Bangladesh and India, Ming! It was great to see the forests, fields and mountains as well as the shops, transport, machinery and clothes. That cabin you stayed in is in a beautiful setting, and Aarham is suddenly looking so grown-up now he's two!
That bridge which doubles as a road and railway track is fascinating, and the Murti River looks as if it leads to places of adventure. The photos of you paddling in the water are lovely, Ming!
As for the saw mill, that looks very interesting actually! I can just imagine the sounds of the machines and the smell of freshly-sawn wood.
Funny that that cloud looked so much like Britain! And I notice that you had a copy of The Boy Next Door in your suitcase!

You make me want to throw a few things into a rucksack and go off trekking somewhere at once!

Great pics Ming. Aarham is really cute. I have a sudden longing to visit India now.

Heh, more coming!
Thought I'll link to the rest of the pics now - I seem to be forgetting about the captions. Perhaps putting the pics up now will teach me to get to work!

Re: Happy Birthday Ming
I have just checked out Album 2 (looked at Album 1 yesterday!) - that cricket bat gets into a lot of photos, it is nice to see the future of Bangladesh cricket is in safe hands!
I don't think I have ever seen a more thorough record of a holiday before - fabulous pics.

Erm..., nope!Viking Star wrote:Probably almost took you as long as it takes me to load photos - almost!
I just imported all the pics directly to Google Picasa, and with three clicks, the whole lot was uploaded to 3 different albums! People might have noticed that it says "Enid - India" - that's because I've used up all MY space, so ended up using Enid's one for these albums.
Interesting thought about cricket, Tony! By the way, have you ever been to Darjeeling?
