Re: do you have a pet?
No pets - just teddy bears and suchlike. I quite like cats, but they make me sneeze. Same goes for birds. Can't stand dogs, which would put me offside with George! If I ever did get a pet, it would probably be a goldfish or something else non-furry or hairy.
Best Regards

Re: do you have a pet?
Nice to see you again, Rowan!
I used to have a goldfish, almost four years ago, named Goldiscales but she died in the same year that I had purchased her.
I was quite small at that time and it was a huge shock for me that my beloved fish had died...

Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.
When once the itch of literature comes over a man, nothing can cure it but the scratching of a pen.

I have a few plants, they to me are like my "pets."

Re: do you have a pet?
We have a Siamese Cat now aged 17, and Henry our dog is a Manchester Terrier. He's 5. We travelled up to Sheffield to get him as a pup, as there was no other Mannies available at that time.
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.

Yes, she's still going strong Ming, I think our dog keeps her young, as he loves to pounce unexpectedly. They they play rough and tumble.
