Thanks for your kind words, Nigel. I'm fortunate in having much to be happy about in my life. :D However, like most people, I do have the occasional off days when I find it difficult to raise a smile.

Well if we don't spend some time in the valleys we can't appreciate the hill tops. :)

I met up with Julie recently and I certainly thought she was lots of fun. :D  I didn't get to see little Rosie, though, as she hadn't had her last round of vaccinations at the time and wasn't yet allowed to go out in public.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Daisy, Julie, Stef and Fiona, in case you are interested: I just posted the newest Cody video clip on my Facebook page. André filmed it this afternoon in our garden.

All this talk of dogs makes me remember I keep meaning to post a video of our cat, chasing sticks and bringing them back! :D Has anyone else ever had a cat that did this?!
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

No, but we did have a cat who would chase dogs if they came onto our property — even ones much bigger than herself — and believe me, they'd run!!
