I don't think anyone really likes them and I shudder at the thought that you have a pet snake!

Which one is it? Cobra? Anaconda? Python?!

I have two amazing cats...Duncan (cuddly, tubby white cat with a tabby mask and tabby patches and tail) and Findlay (non-pure Bengal with white bib and paws).

They are brilliant cats who both my husband and I adore.

At the moment, I have a cat and a chinchilla, Barbie and Benjy. Barbie is a tortoisehsell Oriental and Benjy is a violet, which looks a very light grey with a hint of light purple shades in some light.

In the past I've had a fair few pets - cats, dogs, hamsters (Russian and Syrian), rabbit, guinea pigs, gerbils, mice and a pigeon that I found unable to fly out the back of where I used to work. Vets refused to do anything for him on the grounds they're vermin, so I took him home, expecting him to not last very long - he lived six months! Normally I'd have released him into the wild again, but as he couldn't fly I didn't want to leave him to the mercy of nature. He appeared happy with me and used to hop around indoors quite happily!

In the future, I'd love to have ducks and chickens :D

My nephew just got bought a hamster for his birthday. I don't normally like very small rodents - I am not scared of them but I just find them a bit pointless - but I have to say that this is rather sweet :). Predictably, he's called it Hammy *rolls eyes*
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die.

As Im a poultry farmer(for hatching eggs and rare breeds only-not for meat!),I live with several hundred birds, but I have a few special little guys who I have brought up from hatching day by hand and will never part with. Here are my four goslings,as usual trying to chew my feet, which they do daily!

They look lovely Tweenid. If I lived on a farm or small holding, all my animals would be pets, none would go to market, and I know I'd go bankrupt.

Yep, I totally agree with you,Ming! They're adorable!

I have 2 male guinea pigs called Monty and the other one is called Ginger.
I have a lot of fish but only 2 of them are named (shimmer and coral)'cause the rest look identical.

As some of you know my beloved dog Henry died September, and is still and always will be greatly missed. But hubby and I are travelling up to Yorkshire, tomorrow tea-time (Sunday) where we will pick up our new puppy, from the same breeder as Henry. He will be just over 8 weeks old. His breed is a Manchester Terrier, quite rare dogs, only 100 born last year. And there's not many breeders in this country, hence the journey we have to make. But we're doing it over a few days stay, and will be back in Cornwall Friday afternoon, with our new arrival.

Really happy for you, Julie. As I have said in our private correspondence, the ravages of grief do subside, and eventually you will look back with happiness and warmth on dear old Henry.

Good luck with your new friend.
