As I appear to be the only Ringo, do I win a Barbara Bach?

Out of interest, which is everyone's favourite Ringo song? He did one on each album so there's plenty to choose from. I thought he was very good on Sgt Pepper.

Although credited to The Beatles, Yellow Submarine.

A song under his own name? Then definitely You're Sixteen (You're Beautiful You're Mine).

I love "With a Little Help From My Friends". Definitely my favourite Ringo song, that one (though written by Paul and John, of course).

Of the Beatles songs that Ringo himself wrote -- of which there are only two -- I like "Octopus's Garden".

It Don't Come Easy.

Have you seen the promotional film to this song? It's the middle of winter, he's on a ski slope probably in Switzerland playing a piano whilst wearing thick gloves!

I also like 'it don't come easy' - sounds like George on guitar.

By the way, another George to add to the collection.

Many artists have done cover versions of Beatles songs of course.
One band went a step further.
The song "Titles" by Barclay James Harvest has lyrics based on titles of various Beatles songs.
I won't say it's anywhere near their best (BJH wrote some great songs in my book), but it's a tribute to the Fab 4 and perhaps a unique one.

Hate to be a party pooper but I always preferred Revolver to Sgt Pepper's. Personal taste, I guess. She is Leaving (from Pepper's) is a wonderfully haunting song though.

It Don't Come Easy has got to be the best Ringo track, particulary as performed at the 1971 Concert For Bangladesh.

I agree. I like both albums, but actually think that Revolver is the better of the two!

What a great concert that was; it is one of my most prized DVDs.
