British Summer Time

Post by George@Kirrin »

Just a reminder that as British summer time is now here, for those visiting from the UK, the posting times on the forum will appear out by one hour until you alter the time in your profile.

This can be done under 'Profile' at the top of the page. Change the GMT to GMT + 1 and Submit changes.

British summer time sounds encouraging! Does that mean that we can expect good weather for those attending the Enid Blyton Day LOL

Hmm, based on current weather I'd say no - this was me and my girl at the weekend going along a bridle way

No, silly, it isn't! British Summer Time is the equavilent of Daylight Saving time in othe countries. For example:
London's time zone is usually GMT+0. When Summer Time is in effect it becomes GMT+1.

I usually just subtract 12 hours to convert NZ standard time to GMT. Maybe  I should subtract only 11 hours for a while.

I think the "LOL" at the end of that post meant Ali was joking . Seeing as Ali last logged in not long after making that post in 2006, it is pretty pointless to be responding to him now anyway.
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.
