It sounds like my son's opinion of his own DIY skills. "All the gear, but no idea". Maybe Chrissie has, "All idea, but not the gear!"

Lucy-Ann and Anne both remark that food tastes so much nicer out of doors.
So my long-term memory is a bit better than I thought it is :).

Thank you, Anita, your kind words made my day :)!

If we only could find an EBS member who could illustrate in Tresilian's style...

My comments were t-i-c, Chrissie. You have a great idea which would make a fabulous story. Put pen to paper!

After thinking about it for a while, I have a wild guess as Nigel has told me that before: t(ongue)-i(n)-c(heek)?

Are you serious, Nigel? Having an idea is one thing, but writing an entire story requires a lot more skills and time and focus (and I seriously doubt I have all three...I just happen to be a great admirer of the original Adventure books and always had the feeling 8 volumes were not enough).

As you know I'm raising a little puppy at the moment which cannot be left alone and barely survives when I go to the bathroom for only 2 minutes. I can handle short EBS thread comments in-between when he has a nap (however, when he is awake he is VERY AWAKE :)), but I doubt I could really think long enough about an entire first chapter to pen something down that would be worth reading later on.

Maybe Poppy could be talked into it and I could help her with research and photos (and possibly a few more ideas)?
Lets see what Poppy thinks about it. 8)
And if she would have time right now...

I knew you could work it out, Chrissie. I have much more faith in you that sixret has! And yes, I do think you could write a story! Oh, and I suspect Poppy is pretty busy at the minute!

Perhaps Chrissie and Poppy can work together to get a winter-Adventure-Story?
