I thought the same thing about mine. As Tony knows, I'm notoriously last minute when it comes to writing Journal articles!Courtenay wrote:I had better get around to writing my own blurbs as I offered, seeing how quick and proficient everyone else is being!

It'll certainly make a nice change from all the usual juvenile outbursts that fill up the EB.net boards!

Don't knock it. Hopefully it stops them from seeking out the forums!

Re: Website Additions
Just saw this thread. Are the written blurbs actually being accepted, or were Robert's blurbs just exceptions?

Re: Website Additions
A few of us have volunteered to do the blurbs for certain series.
When Tony recieves them, and he has the time, he will then put them on the site.
Is this what you were asking?

Re: Website Additions
If you've read back through the thread you'll surely have seen the list of people who are writing blurbs for each series, Rob has just done some great ones for the Barney books, and Julie has done the SS, and other people are doing others.
Tony then puts up a link for each series when he's added the new blurbs.
I would have offered as well but my laptop is broken at the moment so I literally don't have a keyboard to write anything on, and if I attempted to write a blurb on this smartphone it would probably take me about 6 months.

Cathy, if you're nice to Bannerman65 he might throw you a new laptop too! (he offered this to Lucky Star on another thread)
Tony, I'll try to get some blurbs to you by tomorrow - very sorry for the delay.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Website Additions
I've done the Find-Outers, Cathy, which Tony already has.
I will do the Secret Seven if needed.

Re: Website Additions
I think the list of people writing blurbs is now as follows:
Courtenay - Adventure series and Galliano's Circus series
Julie - Find-Outers series and Secret Seven series
Poppy - Famous Five series
Walter - Secret series
Robert - Barney series (already up), Caravan Family series and Faraway Tree series.
Sorry to hear about your laptop, Cathy. If you're likely to have access to a computer again in the near future, you could always "bag" a series if you want and then write the blurbs when you can.
