Maybe they used the word "abridged" to cover the updating of the names. :?

Enid's name was certainly abridged. :|

As promised I have loaded the two Brer Rabbit CDs. I see that these are both 'complete and unabridged' and Enid has been given back her name!

Thanks, Tony. It's good to have some information about these CDs and to see the artwork.

It has taken me the best part of two days, but for short story lovers I have now got 54 Bounty Star Reads with their contents in the Cave.

All you have to do now is to try and find a shop that actually sells them! :D

They look great, Tony - I didn't realise there were so many new compilations of Enid's short stories still being published. I like the covers on these - very colourful and quirky, with a style that's a nice balance between traditional and modern.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

They do look lovely Tony but as you intimate I have never seen them for sale in any shop.

What a lovely collection.

Some (if not all) are available at Amazon.

I'm wondering if it is possible to remove the Updated link at the top of the page? As the site is constantly being updated, a date of March 20 is a little pointless, and might lead people to think there have been no updates in the past four months. It would be sad if people thought Tony had retired... Just a thought.

A nice addition, I love some of those cover illustrations, nice and colourful, all waiting to be bought and read. :)

I like the look of them too, but I don't think I have the room to start collecting them myself.

I'm sure I am probably telling you something that you already know, but all that artwork that people have been admiring has been around for a while as Bounty are just using the same artwork as the Award Reward Series.

Thanks for the information, Tony. I also like the look of them, but doubt whether I shall be buying them unless I come across secondhand copies. :D

I didn't know that, but then I've only got one of the books Twelve Silver Cups which I've never opened as far as I know.
