Thank you Dinah - much appreciated. :-D I remember that you usually read the stories and glad you are enjoying it. I do know there are lots on here who never go anywhere near the stories, but I guess that's their choice. There are others who never visit the cave or other areas...so I guess the serials are in good company, lol!

And the majority of the members never go near the forums.

That's true! :-D Pity though, as they are all missing something!

I suspect some of them do not know how to go to the forum.

It's easy enough without logging in. Just request to get notifications in your inbox, then click on the link in the notification and check out the EBS post.

Some of them may not be computer literate at all...

I believe I wrote a Journal article about the forums a few years back. Tony also has a link to the website on his page each issue.

Also, if some of the members are elderly, they may not even have a computer. They may just be interested in having the Journal three times a year.

I offered my mom to teach her how to use a computer way back in 1999.
She thought she was too old to learn about new technology.
Now she's 88 and wishes she had tried to learn it way back then.
None of her (10+ years younger) professor friends in Germany have a computer or a laptop.
So we cannot skype, I can only send her printed out photos and talk to her on the phone.

My dad uses a computer, and has done for around 10 years, so he's fairly computer literate - often uses Google Earth and sends emails and buys stuff online. So its never too late to learn. Mind you, he was about 72 when he first used a computer, so not all that old.

Rob, you are lucky! 8)
My mom just turned 70 in 1999 when I offered her to show her how to use one.
She could have afforded buying one, instead she rather traveled a lot.
I guess it might have something to do with the fact that none of her friends had a computer (I was the only person she knew in 1999 who used a computer at my office...supposedly I'm still the only one (?)).

Phew.... just read the new chapter! What a "page turner" this story is. Still, I am determined not to wish time away... it goes fast enough these days, but I must say I am looking forward to next Monday already!
