I wondered if you'd drawn the banner, Rob, very nice.

An attractive and vibrant piece of artwork, conveying a flavour of the story without giving anything away. I was sorry to see how small the picture was on the serial banner so I'm glad Tony has put up a much larger version.

I'm not clever enough to do a banner for the serial I'm doing at the moment. So I'm sure Tony will find me something as he usually does.

I'm sure you could, Julie! :-D I just do a banner to decorate the first page of my serial when I submit it to Tony. Its a shame they have to be reproduced so small, but I know this is how they have to be.

Incidentally, I like how it's described on the banner as 'A Robert Houghton novel' - made me feel quite famous!

Thanks for posting the full-size banner, Tony - I'm pleased people can see it at the proper size! :-D

And thank you for the kind comments. :D :D

I've never had that problem as I have to wait (in your case) 30 weeks! :|

Maybe that makes up for "The Mystery of the Disappearing Tramp" which isn't credited to anyone! :?

I know! :-( I did ask last year if it could be credited to me, but I think it was too late to change it! :-(

At least I have the distinction of being the only writer of a serial NOT credited!!

Your name is on there when you go into the story, Robert. So people who are reading it, know who wrote it.

Yes - you're right - but it is the only one with no credit on the banner. Not that I really mind - it was ages ago! :-D

But if someone wanted to look to see what stories I'd written on here, they'd only see two instead of three! :?

I've just been catching up with the weekly serial. Thanks to Ilsa, I liked the Secret Seven story very much, and I have also started Rob's new serial, terrific beginning, I'm intrigued already and looking forward to future episodes.
