5th Anniversary of the Website

Post by Anita Bensoussane »

As Tony has mentioned on the Message Board, today is the 5th Anniversary of the website. :D It was begun on 25th December 2004 and since then we've seen it grow and flourish - long may it continue to do so! Thanks to all the Blytonites who help make this such a fun, friendly and informative place to be!

This is a wonderful website and it has helped me with my Enid Blytoninon Knowledge a lot! Apart from that I have met really nice Blytonian people too. :)

Five years eh? What a wonderful website it has turned out to be. The Cave of Books, the quizzes, biographies, exclusive continuation stories.... And of course these marvellous forums full of wonderful Blyton-people chattering away at all hours of the day and night. The website has become a truly global meeting place for Blyton fans; it is a great tribute both to the ongoing appeal of Enid Blyton and to the founders of the Society and website itself.

Long live the EBS webiste. :D :D

I can only echo all of Lucky Star's sentiments. This site is something of a life-line to me as I am housebound through illness. Thanks to all concerned for the enjoyment and contact with fellow Blyton-lovers.

I'd just like to add my thanks to all those who have made this website site the great source of info it is. It's also great to know there are so many other people out there who enjoy the books too. I love dipping into the various links from time to time and finding out more about Enid's life and books. I think my New Year Resolution must be to join the Society and receive the journals, then I can access the Secret Passage too.

I look forward to the next 5 years!

A belated Happy Birthday to the Website. And a great thank you to Tony, Anita and Keith who help to keep it one of the best around. Not forgetting Barney of course, busy with answering all those hard questions on the message board. :D
