Silly me; I didn't scroll down far enough! I thought that it was the links on the left that had altered.

A great new look, however - well done Messrs Robinson and Summerfield! :D

Only if you write a letter of apology in French!

Suppose I'm a Madame really, but I always liked the nickname of the Mam'zelle in the St. Clare's books - "Mam'zelle Abominable"!

I suppose I should be grateful that you didn't want it in Welsh!

Our computer wasn't showing the popular series on the home page properly, but now it is. What a good idea to have them showing on a sort of face card. The introductions by Anita read very well. Particularly the Find-Outers, well done for that one, Anita, you write about Fatty with such affection. As he really is a well loved character. :D

Cheers, Julie. :D Fatty is one of my favourite Blyton creations and I'd have loved to have had a friend like him when I was a child. Your own affection for Fatty and the rest of the Find-Outers comes across in your stories about their retirement days.

Hi all

I'm new to this site and can I just add that I think these new additions are terrible!!!! I clicked on the faraway tree, got absorbed in the text and am now quite a bit lighter in the pocket buying the original editions (my Dean version said abridged!!) and getting the omnibus book. If it goes on any longer I'll have to take out a new mortgage on the house and we all know how hard they are to come by. Please no more, my pocket can't take it. Also my collection is about to move onto the fourth box and I have no room .... will have to turf the kids out of their rooms next. Oh well the needs of the mother, er um sorry many and all that.
If I could live here on this secret island always and always and always, and never grow up at all, I would be quite happy

I know the feeling Shadow, I am continually inspired to hit ebay when I browse the Cave of Books or receive a new Journal. Welcome to the forums by the way. :D
