There were actually a few other Forum members there on Saturday who weren't in the photo - Robert Houghton for a start. You might be interested to know that on Saturday with a number of regular forumites otherwise engaged we hit an all time high on the website with over 2300 visits. As the forums are freely available to anyone who just wants to read the posts, probably most of these were just 'guests', but even so a huge percentage of registered forum users don't belong to the Society and vice versa, a huge percentage of Society members are not registered on the forums. They tend to be two separate 'animals' with a relatively small overlap.
Sorry that I didn't have a chance to meet lucky star!!

Thats Ok Tony, I did look around for you a couple of times but you were always so busy. You must have had to sleep for 48 hours following the event.Sorry that I didn't have a chance to meet lucky star!!
Thats really encouraging to think that the website received so many visits when most of its most prolific visitors were nowhere near a computer. There is obviously a huge interest in Blyton out there, even if some of it is just casual.

Yes, I WAS there, but so busy buying books that I didn't do much talking. Sorry I didn't speak, Tony, but every time I looked you were surrounded!! Well done on it as usual though.

Re: members of the forum
Paulo has kindly sent me a nice big copy of the group photo of Forumites Twyford 07. It is now proudly on display in the shop on the wall next to the FF stand. I think I can name everyone except the young lady between G@K and VS.
Who are you? (I know I should know!)
I'll then get it annotated with forum-names ( and another pointer at the EBS membership forms!)

Re: members of the forum
If you go back to Paulo's original post in the EB Day section, you will see after a series of edits I actually put real names and forum names against everybody in the photo.
I am a bit worried about the photos as Paulo said on September 6th that he had posted photos to me, but I haven't received any!
On the subject of 500 members to the forums, we did actually reach 535 at one stage and then Matt had a great purge and removed over 100 names who had registered, but not visited the site again - I think he wanted to remove any possible dormant spammers. So we have now reached 500 second time round!
