Book of Fairies and Book of Brownies - great value!

Post by Rob Houghton »

Two books with dust wrappers in very good condition, from World of Rare Books - a seller I recommend highly.

Only £23.01 (wonder what the extra penny is for?!) for the two and free postage.

Just want to say thank you Rob for posting the link to these, as I clicked on it to have a look and as I was weghing them up, in the other items box was Newnes editions The Adventures of Mr Pink Whistle and Mr Pink Whistle's Party, both in good wrappers for £21. I've been after both for a while but their usually pretty pricey, the seller's other copy of Party is £108 for the one book! Thank you for the link to the others, as I wouldn't have seen them otherwise :D :D .

Well done, Ice Maiden! Mr. Pink Whistle's Party is the most difficult to get of all three. You got two titles in wrappers for a very low price. :D

Even the books in the link that Rob has posted are bargain. But nobody has taken it yet. Hope someone will buy these lovely books because the price is very cheap. :D

Glad it helped you get the Pink-Whistle books, IceMaiden! The P.W books are indeed very difficult to find cheaply in good dust wrappers - I only have one PW book in a dust wrapper.

I'm quite surprised no one has snapped up the Book of Fairies and Book of Brownies, as these are very good prices. I would have bought them but I already bought Book of Brownies a few weeks ago for £15 - which was very cheap!
