The Secret of Spiggy Holes with dj
Looking for a couple of titles myself and came across this. I remember someone asking about a copy of this a few weeks back and this one is in a fairly nice dust wrapper at a decent price:

Many thanks for that, just happened to log in to the forum and saw your post. So I hoofed it over to the Oxfam site and bought it !!
You don't often see many for sale with dustwrappers online, and often those without are for more money than this one. Fingers crossed it's ok !!
Some of the prices for Blyton books are riidiculous, but there are bargains to be had still, I got a very nice copy of The Secret of Killimooin with a decent dustwrapper for £2.99 a few months ago,

Sorry I beat you to it Rob, sure I recognise the name , think we may have been rival bidders when Morris963 was selling his mothers Blyton books on EBay earlier in the year !! Which is partly what started me off collecting them again. He had some nice books and and got some real bargains from his first batch, nice man to .Rob Houghton wrote:Its now sold out! Yes, he was a nice guy. I won a few of them, but most went way beyond my pocket!

Wow that was quick! I'm glad it's helped someone get a book they want . I'll keep an eye out for another Rob, it's not one I've seen a lot of online with a wrapper, not that price anyway.
I second what you say about Morris963, very nice chap and his mother must have had a marvellous collection. The prices were so fair and reasonable too, a real rarity, I bought about 45 off him and would have had more if I possibly could have done!!

Yes I was quick of the mark, like you say you don't see many with dustwrappers .. so thanks again, re Morris963 yrs I bought a lot off him too, got a full set of St Clare's and many others , and he always combined postage .
It's very difficult to know the true value of Blyton books . When I first started collecting them about 15 years ago, a lot admittedly I bought from booksellers off abebooks .. and the record of purchase are still on there( sold most of them 5/6 years ago ) ..and in most cases I paid more then than I have in the last year when I started collecting again .
My biggest regret was selling a lovely early copy of The adventures of Scamp, with an almost fine wrapper ( Mary Pollock/ Blyton ), think the only copy online with a wrapper I've seen recently was about £60 !!
I do like the Tower House series which includes the early Blyton ( Mary Pollock ) but books by other authors like Demon Island, Mystert Man Etc . So am trying to collect them again
Once again thanks for the Spiggy Holes prompt

Demon Island is one of the few by other authors that I've got - very enjoyable - and also surprising in that the children shoot at the baddies with a gun!!PatrickB wrote: I do like the Tower House series which includes the early Blyton ( Mary Pollock ) but books by other authors like Demon Island, Mystert Man Etc . That wrapper looks in great condition and very bright. I'm jealous too.
