Some nice pieces here, although all are £40 each. Original artwork (from the Famous Five annuals, I presume) by Michael Strand -

Nice if you're really into the annuals etc.

Those images come from the Annual, Five on Kirren (sic!) Island Again. It is actually the second time around as there were no bidders first time. The seller has had quite a few Blyton artwork items for sale, including this!
It apparently went through with no bidders, but sold soon after that.

I'd never seen them before - or the Castle of Adventure artwork - even I might have been tempted by that! I think I missed them because I rarely search for 'Enid Blyton' in 'all categories' but only in 'Antique and collectable' so occasionally I can see it would pay me to search in 'all categories'!

Gosh - I wonder if Stuart Tresilian's artwork for any of the other Thames editions of the Adventure books has survived?

Ah, that's the one that occasionally gets mistaken for Five on Kitten Island Again.Tony Summerfield wrote:Those images come from the Annual, Five on Kirren (sic!) Island Again.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
