It looks lovely, I've never seen a diary like that one before.

I've seen a couple at the Enid Blyton Day but didn't buy one as they were priced at about £40 each!

I'm watching, don't know if I'll bid

I was going to bid, but by the looks of things it's going to get too expensive, so I'll not bother. Be interesting to know if any forumites do manage to get this diary though. It does look a nice one, but the price already has put me off! :|

I put in a fairly high "maximum bid" and was immediately out bid, so I won't be owning it!

It's just gone for £57! I suppose Francis is a bit low on funds now....

I would have liked to bid, but it ended while I was on the school run. I wondered if it was worth putting in a bid beforehand, rather than leaving it the last minute like I normally do. Just as well I didn't bother, I wouldn't have been putting in a bid anywhere near the final price.

I hope whoever got it enjoys it though, it looks lovely. Wonder if it's anyone from the Society.

I was going to put in a bid for the archives, but I forgot all about it and it certainly wouldn't have been anywhere near £57!

And, with my usual skill... I forgot all about this. Wasn't going to bid more than a fiver anyway.

£57 seems rather a lot of money!

So I wonder if the new buyer will be putting it back on with a starting bid of £50!

That diary seems to be in pristine condition but I'd quite like one that has been completely filled in, as it would give a fascinating insight into a 1950s (or slightly later) childhood!
