Secret Seven on the Trail and The Hidey-Hole

Post by Julie2owlsdene »

I have replaced my hardback with dust jacket of Secret Seven on the Trail and so am selling the other one I have. It's a reprint 1964, with an excellent complete dust jacket which I have protected. PM me for the price. Or if anyone who is going to the Old Thatch Day and is interested, PM me anyway.

The other book I have for sale is a first edition of The Hidey-Hole. Excellent condition, but no jacket, sadly.

Reason for sale is that I've found a 1st edition with a complete dust jacket and in excellent condition.

Hi Julie,

Too bad, but none of the 7 EB books that I'm still searching from private are among yours.
Here's my missing books list:

1. At Seaside Cottage
2. Secret of the Old Mill
3. Mystery of Banshee Towers
4. The Secret Island
5. Five are together again
6. Hollow Tree House
7. Ragamuffin Mystery

They don't need to have dust wrappers, my hubby creates the most beautiful dust wrappers :). But they have to be old hardcovers, no paperbacks.

I hope so very much that a few members from EBS who have these titles and want to sell them via PayPal read my post.

Julie, I might be interested in The Boy Next Door and The Treasure Hunters. Which editions are they (not that I'm looking for specific ones, just curious), and what sort of price and postage would you be asking? Please feel free to PM me if you prefer. :D

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

You can read about The Hidey-Hole in the cave Sue.

It's not one of her best but I think it was Blyton's last proper novel to be published.
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Er I think you might have the wrong thread Sue. There are no plans for an Old Thatch Day anyway as Jackie has closed the gardens to the public for good.

I think Sue might have read the original post (which mentions the then-upcoming Old Thatch gathering) without noticing that it dates from last year - easily done.

And the two other books I enquired about are now sitting proudly on my bookshelf and have given me much enjoyment since I bought them - many thanks again, Julie! :D
